If, in the ‘Membership Details’ section of your membership profile, you have directed Hertz not to communicate any marketing offers or materials to you, your participation in the Program will be limited to certain transactions you perform on hertz.com or over the phone with Hertz. We will be unable to send you balance notifications or any other Program materials. You will only receive non-marketing communications Hertz may send in connection with the Program.

What About Earning Hertz Gold+ Points? Participants will earn one point for every qualified U.S. dollar, or its equivalent in the currency tendered on each qualifying rental. Qualifying rentals include all car rentals, (excluding truck and van rentals), at participating locations Account Information A participant’s RewardHertz Gold+ account information such as current balance earned and redeemed Points can be accessed anytime by logging onto hertz.com. What About Redeeming for Free Rentals? A member can redeem specified points for Hertz Gold+ Rentals or participating frequent traveler program miles/points or credits. To redeem miles/points/credits, members simply login to hertz.com, then click on the "Use My Gold Plus Points" link at the top of the page,and follow the directions to book online at hertz.com. What About Using Hertz Gold+? A Hertz Gold+ Rental requires a reservation and the Hertz redemption reward desired must be selected at the time of the reservation. To use a Hertz Gold+ Points for a rental in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Belgium and Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, the U.S., Canada, and participating U.S. Territories, Members must redeem Hertz Gold+ Points in one transaction online when booking a rental. To redeem Points and reserve a car online, log on to hertz.com, select “Use My Gold Plus Points" from the right hand side of the top navigation bar and follow the prompts from there. Points will be automatically deducted from your account and you will be sent to the online reservation process to book your rental if you are booking online. Once Points are redeemed and a rental reservation is made online, any changes, modifications or cancellations to the Reward reservation may be made online or by calling 087084488441. Redemption of Hertz Gold+ Points for rentals in participating countries in Europe (Belgium & Luxembourg, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain & the United Kingdom) will apply toward pre-paid rentals only of certain compact, intermediate and seven seater car classes and any additional days beyond those for which points are redeemed, must be paid for in advance in accordance with the rules of the rental. Cars included within specific car classes will vary by country. Rewards are based on 1 free day, 1 weekend (1 or 2 days), and one week. When redeeming for a weekend reward, it may only be redeemed against a weekend rate and the rental must be kept over a Saturday night. Rates used to calculate Reward redemptions may differ from on-line rates. Rewards for rentals in Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, the United States, Canada and participating U.S. Territories will apply toward non pre-paid rentals only and any additional days beyond those for which points are redeemed, must be paid in accordance with the rules of the rental. Unless otherwise specified, Free Day Rental Rewards are available for rentals within Belgium & Luxembourg, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands. Hertz reserves the right to limit the number of cars available for Hertz Gold+ Rental usage. Hertz Gold+ Rentals will be subject to vehicle availability at the time and place of rental. Vehicle must be returned to original rental location. AnyDay Rewards may be used during specified AnyDay Rewards travel periods. If the desired date for the commencement of a reward rental falls during an AnyDay Reward period, the whole rental is subject to the utilization of an AnyDay Rewards Period and does not qualify for the use of a Standard Reward. For a list of AnyDay Rewards periods in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Belgium & Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Italy, the U.S. and Canada, scroll down to the list below. Rewards apply to contracted time and mileage only. Members are responsible for governmental surcharges, taxes, tax reimbursement, vehicle license fees, airport related fees, Fuel Purchase Option, refueling, excess mileage charge, LDW and optional items. Rewards are not combinable. Only one Hertz Gold+ Rental Reward can be used per rental transaction. So for example, if a member selects a one day, weekend or one week rental for a reward redemption, they may pay for additional days and extend the length of the rental, but they may not redeem for two or more rewards in the same rental reservation (so if they wanted to redeem for four days, they could not redeem four one-day rentals rewards in the same rental reservation). In addition, Hertz Gold+ Rental Rewards may not be combined with any other discount, promotion, coupon or frequent traveler reward program (i.e., airline frequent flyer, hotel frequency program, Haute Fidélité in France, etc.). All local rental and age requirements apply. Hertz Gold+ points are only transferable to a member's spouse or domestic partner. Prior to any Hertz Gold+ Points Transfers, the member's spouse or domestic partner should have his/her own #1 Club number to use the Hertz Gold+ Rental Free Day(s). Hertz Gold+ offers are void where prohibited by law. Hertz Gold+ Points will not be refunded in the event on no shows, early vehicle returns or reservation cancellation requests, unless the rental is cancelled with at least twenty-four hours notice prior to rental pick up time shown on the reservation. Hertz Gold+ Points, frequent traveler miles/points or credits and Hertz Gold+ Rentals are not exchangeable, refundable or redeemable for cash or credit under any circumstance. Tax liabilities arising from the Program are the sole responsibility of the member. General Program Terms 1. Hertz has the right to change, limit or modify Program rules, Rewards, Reward structure and Hertz Gold+ Point levels at any time with or without notice. 2. The number of Hertz Gold+ Points required to redeem any Reward may be increased, any Reward may be withdrawn, and restrictions on any Reward or its redemption may be imposed at any time. 3. In accumulating Hertz Gold+ Points, members should not rely upon the continuing availability of any Reward or Reward level, and members may not be able to obtain all offered Rewards in all circumstances: Hertz has the right to terminate the Hertz Gold+ Program at any time upon six months prior notice to members. As of the termination date, members will no longer be able to earn Hertz Gold+ Points or to redeem Hertz Gold+ Points for Rewards. Hertz may terminate the Program at any time in whole or in part without advance notice in any jurisdiction(s) if required to do so by applicable law. In addition, the Program may be suspended or terminated if events beyond Hertz’s reasonable control, such as computer or electronic transmission failure, materially affect Hertz’s ability to continue the Program.
